Happy Fall! I would like to thank everyone that came to our fall open house ~ it was wonderful to see so many familiar faces and a pleasure to meet those new to our practice! There are some big changes coming up in our future! As we approach the 10th anniversary of The Medi Spa at Ridgewood Hill, we are planning a major renovation and expansion. We are looking into several new, non-surgical technologies with minimal downtime to help keep us looking young!
Although I am retiring from surgical practice next spring, I will still be here as owner and medical director. I look forward to our continued relationship, as we celebrate 10 years together! The best is yet to come!
I am very excited to join Dr. Wray’s team of skilled providers. I have been a patient for many years and I know how the aesthetic industry has changed my life. Now I am able to provide that same knowledge and skill to help patients achieve their aesthetic goals. The aesthetic world is ever evolving and we hope to have some cutting-edge procedures in the near future. Stay tuned for the new you!!!!
Katie Vaughan has been on Dr. Wray’s team for twenty years. She has received advanced training from Allergan in Botox, Juvederm, Volbella, Vollure and Voluma treatments. She also holds certifications from Merz Aesthetics, Coolsculpting, miraDry, Sciton, and Cynosure.
“It’s been a year since Volbella was introduced to the HA filler world and to our practice. It has become one of my favorite fillers to inject because it’s perfect for fine lines, vertical lip lines, and the pink part of the lip, by adding subtle fullness. It’s ideal for people who dislike the area around the mouth but are fearful of fillers and the “duck”, “fish”, or “monkey” look. It’s soft and allows tissue to move normally so the results look natural. Even though it’s soft and subtle, it’s durable. It lasts about 12 months since it’s not designed the same way as some of the other softer, more delicate, short lived HA fillers. Its longevity, its subtle lift capacity, and ability to smooth superficial lines are the reasons why I love Volbella!”
Melissa Miles is our licensed, master esthetican. She has been with Dr. Wray for over twenty years and has vast knowledge of professional skin peels, laser treatments, pharmaceutical and cosmeceutical product lines.
Q: My face becomes so dry in the winter, what products can help?
A: Most of us experience dry skin in the winter. I have added Obagi’s Hydrate Luxe moisturizer to my skin care regimen to provide the extra hydration my skin needs. I use it at night to provide great moisture without a greasy feel, I love it!
